WHAT STUDENTS SAY

ERIC YEON
TROY CLASS OF 2018
Ms. Regli has the ability to explain the chemistry concepts in such a creative and simple way. She knew which areas I needed help on and made the material so much easier to understand. She helped me raise my SAT Chemistry test score immensely. I am so glad I asked for her help because she has a deep passion to help her students and is an amazing instructor.

I am truly amazed at seeing how far I have come by taking Ms. Regli’s class. From not knowing any Chemistry, I was not only able to receive a 5 on AP Chemistry and an 800 on SAT II Chemistry, but also excel at the US National Chemistry Olympiad due to Ms. Regli’s teaching. Throughout her class, she was attentive to students’ needs and accessible to all our questions, allowing every student to excel and succeed. If there is anyone you should entrust your Chemistry education with, it's Ms. Regli.

Ms. Regli was definitely the best teacher I had at Troy! She taught chem in such a clear, logical way. Chem was the only AP test that I took before taking the actual AP class, and I had a really solid foundation because of her Honors Chem class. She also showed genuine concern for her students, both academically and personally. So she was not only an amazing teacher, but also an amazing mentor who people could rely on.

YALE CLASS OF 2020
In high school, Ms. Regli was my honors and AP chemistry teacher. Ever since day one, she was patient and fun, making sure to explain concepts clearly but also creatively. Sitting in her class felt more like participating in a discussion rather than listening to a lecture. This is not to say that she went easy on her students; we most definitely had our fair share of challenging application problems but in this way, we were able to master the fundamentals. Few teachers have ever touched my life so deeply and her talent for teaching truly made my learning experience both enjoyable and unforgettable.

CALTECH CLASS OF 2020
I found that Ms. Regli’s AP Chemistry class prepared me so well that even in my college general chemistry classes, most of the material seemed familiar and accessible. When I worked on my problem sets, I still remembered once asking Ms. Regli a question about molecules colliding and gaining a much better understanding of kinetics and rate laws, knowledge that remained coherent and helpful in my brain even a year later. Even though my major is not in chemistry, Ms. Regli’s interactive style of teaching captivated my interest, and I learned to appreciate the depth and intrigue of the subject.

I was a shy student going into Ms. Regli’s honors chemistry class in my sophomore year. There are few teachers who can inspire their students to speak up in class; Ms. Regli nurtured a curiosity in her students, not just for chemistry but for scientific inquiry. I was a different person coming out of Ms. Regli's class, and even after four years of college and a year of medical school, I can honestly say she is one of the few truly talented instructors and mentors I have ever encountered.

Ms. Regli inspired me to pursue a career in chemistry. I loved being taught by someone who is equally as passionate about chemistry as she is caring for her students.

Ms. Regli is an amazing teacher - she sets high expectations for her students, but also has the teaching prowess to help them reach these expectations. She is clear, concise, and has built up an arsenal of "tricks" in order to make the process of learning chemistry seem almost effortless.

Ms. Regli is a phenomenal instructor. She's well-versed with chemistry topics and can break down difficult concepts in an easy-to-learn manner.

Ms. Regli's infectious love for chemistry and her ability to make deep personal connections with students makes her a one-of-a-kind-teacher. Because of her I scored a 5 on the AP Chemistry exam and was so much more prepared for chemistry classes in college than the rest of my classmates.

Ms. Regli was probably one of the best teachers I had while at Troy, thanks to her fun yet immensely interesting teaching style. I had her during one of the toughest times in my high school career (right in between Calculus and Physics classes during my Junior year) yet Ms. Regli was still able to make chemistry (and school for that matter) fun. Her course is challenging, no doubt, but her teaching style makes it both understandable and interesting. Ms. Regli is beyond helpful and supportive.

Ms Regli is probably one of the most influential teacher I ever had. Her teaching not only reflects her passion for science but also her genuine heart for students. She is someone whom I always felt safe and comfortable sharing my concerns not only in academics but also in my personal life. She always encouraged and motivated me to achieve more than I could have ever imagined. Her encouragements and positive influences have led me to pursue a career in science research.
